Laptop USB-C poorten kapot na gebruik

Heb deze kabel gekocht voor bij mijn nieuwe Apple MacBook Air. Na 2 weken waren beide USB-C poorten van de laptop kapot en volgens reparateur doorgebrand. Enige apparaat/adapter/kabel wat ik niet al op oude laptop gebruikte (en ook daarna nog op vervangende laptop heb gebruikt) wat nieuw was was deze kabel die dat dus veroorzaakt moet hebben.
