Douxe uses the collected data to provide its clients with the following services:
1. Personal data
a. When you place an order via the website, we need your name, e-mail address, delivery address and payment details to carry out the order and inform you about the progress of the order.
b. We may, within the framework of a concluded agreement, inform you about the development of our business activities and the website, as well as any offers and promotions relating to our products and services, provided you give your consent. If you no longer wish to receive this information, please let us know by sending an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
2. Other personal data
We only process other personal data (by means of cookies, reading peripherals or otherwise) if:
the data processing is necessary for:
a. the performance of an agreement concluded with you;
b. the proper performance of a public law task;
c. the fulfilment of our legitimate interest (unless your interest or fundamental rights and freedoms prevail over this interest).
3. Processing of personal data by third parties
Douxe will only provide your personal data to third parties if this is necessary for the performance of an agreement concluded with you.
When you send an e-mail or other communications to us, we may retain those communications. Sometimes we will ask you for your personal data relevant to the situation at hand. This enables us to process your questions and respond to your requests. We will not resell this data to third parties or combine it with other personal data in our possession.
Security transmission, receipt and storage of data
a. A secure connection is used on the page where you provide personal data.
b. When we transfer or receive your data on our website, we always use the encryption technologies recognised as common standards within the IT sector;
c. If we receive or transfer certain critical information, such as for example financial information or health information, we use a secure server.
d. We have implemented the necessary security measures to prevent the loss, unauthorised use or alteration of information we receive on our site;
a. We do not retain your personal data for longer than is necessary for the processing of the purposes for which it was collected.
b. Pursuant to applicable administrative obligations, we retain invoices containing your personal data. As long as the applicable term runs, we will retain this data.
You are not obliged to provide your personal data. However, if you do not provide this information, we cannot enter into an agreement with you, answer your questions or make our website available to you.
Under applicable Dutch and European legislation, you have certain rights in relation to personal data processed by or on behalf of us.
a. You may at all times request Douxe to inspect, correct, rectify, supplement or delete your personal data if they are incorrect, incomplete or if they are processed in violation of a statutory provision.
b. Only if the personal data are no longer required for the purposes for which we have collected the personal data can the personal data be deleted.
c. Insofar as the data processing is based on consent, you have the right to withdraw this consent at any time.
d. You can request Douxe to obtain the personal data you have provided to Douxe yourself in a structured and common form, so that you can transfer the data to another data controller. You are entitled to this only insofar as the processing is based on consent within the meaning of Article 6(1) under a AVG or Article 9(2) under a AVG or if it concerns a processing that is based on the performance of the agreement as referred to in Article 6(1) under b AVG and the processing is carried out via automated processes.

f. We will provide you with information on the action taken on the request without delay and in any event within one month of receiving the request. Depending on the complexity of the request and the number of requests, this period may be extended by two months.
g. If your requests are manifestly unfounded or excessive, in particular due to their repetitive nature, Douxe will either charge you a reasonable fee or refuse to act on the request.
a. Douxe is authorised to delete your account at any time without notice. In such a case, Douxe shall not owe any compensation to the customer as a result of the account termination.
